WePlay! Pushka League
Hard times like these force us to make hard decisions: while the whole world is on pause, people are pondering what to watch. And we’ve got a solution! Meet WePlay! Pushka League — a brand new WePlay! Esports project. Our Dota 2 league will run from April 20 to May 11. Fourteen best teams from the CIS and Europe will converge in a single online tournament with a powerful prize pool of $250,000. Here’s a bit more about the invited participants, you would like it! First of all, the back-to-back world champions OG; they are followed by Team Secret, one of the most titled teams in the history of Dota 2; also, Team Nigma, one of WePlay!’s best and The International 2019 vice-champions; the legendary Natus Vincere and Alliance, as well as seven other no less worthy teams. They will be joined by two teams decided by additional Open Qualifications. The tournament’s format is extremely simple: the participants will be divided into two groups of seven teams, all matches are played following the round-robin system up to two victories (Best of 3). Those who end the Group Stage at first, second, third and fourth places withing their groups will proceed to the playoffs to determine the champion in the Double Elimination bracket. We are not going to stop after successful WePlay! Bukovel Minor, WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Mad Moon and WeSave! Charity Play tournaments: just wait for us to announce your favorite hosts, commentators, and analysts, and go watch the league online streamed from our updated studio.
