CS:GO Esports: WePlay Academy League Season 2

The first season of CS:GO Academy League by WePlay Esports got so many kind and rave reviews that Season 2 is knocking on your door. From September 28th to November 14th, 2021, we will show you the most exciting CS:GO event on Twitch with a $100 000 prize pool. Eight participants in two GSL groups will fight in best-of-three matches, and the top academy team from each group will go straight to the LAN Finals at WePlay Arena in Kyiv, Ukraine. This time we've slightly changed the format. As it was in Season 1, teams will be divided into two GSL groups, and the top team from each group will qualify for the main event — LAN Finals at our comfortable and bright WePlay Arena in Kyiv, Ukraine. Unlike the previous season, teams in 2nd and 3rd places will proceed to a "Last Chance Group" to compete for the opportunity to get to the LAN Finals. The matches will take place from October 7th to 9th as Play-In Stage with Double-Elimination bracket and Bo3 matches. The winners in each group will proceed to the LAN event. Our participants: FURIA Academy, Fnatic Rising, VP.Prodigy, Astralis Talent, BIG. Omen Academy, mouz NXT, Young Ninjas, NAVI Junior. You can read more about each academy team following the hashtag #WEPLAY ACADEMY LEAGUE. The prize pool for the event is $100 000, and it will be distributed among all participants in the following way: 1st place — $45 000, 2nd place — $20 000, 3rd place — $15 000, 4th place — $8 000, 5th place — $6 000, 6th place — $3 000, 7th-8th places — $1 500 each team. Our professional hosts, commentators, and analysts will provide the best quality of the show. English panel: James Banks (Host), Anastasija "Heccu" Tolmacheva (Host), Alex "Mauisnake" Ellenberg (Analyst), Jacob "Pimp" Winneche (Analyst), Conner "Scrawny" Girvan (Commentator), Mohan "launders" Govindasamy (Commentator).
