BLAST Premier 2022: Spring Season GROUPS

The best year should start with the brightest event in the world of CS:GO — BLAST Premier 2022: Spring Season! The third season of the BLAST Premier CS:GO tournament will be held in three stages: GROUPS, SHOWDOWN, and FINAL.  GROUPS will be an online event, which starts on January 28th and ends on February 6th, 2022. Twelve of the most famous and strongest teams from Europe will divide into three equal groups and fight for the champion place, 3400 PTS, and $177,500 prize pool. Format and Dates GROUPS has three stages that will be played on January 28-30 and February 2-6, 2022. Group Stage Twelve teams are divided into three double-elimination (GSL) format groups. Each group has four teams, and all matches will be best-of-1. All teams advanced to the seeded Play-In Stage.  Play-In Stage All teams will be divided into three single-elimination gauntlets with best-of-three matches. The winner from each gauntlet advances to the Spring Season FINAL stage. Second and Third teams from each gauntlet advance to the Last Chance Stage of GROUPS. The fourth team from each gauntlet will advance to the Spring Season SHOWDOWN. Last Chance Stage All matches in the Last Chance Stage are best-of-three with a Single-Elimination bracket. Winners will advance to the Spring Season FINAL. Losers proceed to the Spring Season SHOWDOWN.  GROUPS Stage Teams Twelve CS:GO teams from Europe are divided into three groups with four teams in each: Group A: G2 Esports, Complexity, BIG, and Ninjas in Pyjamas. Group B: Natus Vincere, MIBR, Astralis, and OG. Group C: Team Vitality, Evil Geniuses, FaZe Clan, and Team Liquid. Schedule January 28th - January 30th All matches for the first three days of GROUPS are best-of-1 (six matches a day) with the following schedule: 1st — 15:00 CET 2nd — 16:00 CET 3rd — 17:30 CET 4th — 18:30 CET 5th — 20:00 CET 6th — 21:30 CET February 2nd - February 6th Matches from days 4-7 of GROUPS are best-of-three (three matches a day) with the following schedule: 1st — 13:00 CET 2nd — 16:30 CET 3rd — 18:30 CET First matches will be held in the Upper Bracket Round 1 between: Group A:  G2 vs. Complexity BIG vs. Ninjas in Pyjamas Group B: Natus Vincere vs. MIBR Astralis vs. OG Group C: Team Vitality vs. Evil Geniuses FaZe Clan vs. Team Liquid  Talents BLAST Premier 2022: Spring Season is an online CS:GO tournament with a professional crew that provides the best quality broadcasting. Each viewer will be pleased to see these names for the significant upcoming event: Freya Spiers, a professional host, FACEIT reporter, and interviewer will be your Desk Host. Two former professional CS:GO players, Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez and Jacob "Pimp" Winneche will cover each game's details and analysis at the Analyst panel. Four talented, attentive, and precise commentators will help every viewer not to miss any detail from a single match: Conner "Scrawny" Girvan, Mohan "launders" Govindasamy, Anders Blume, and Jason "moses" O'Toole. Famous commentator, host, and journalist James Banks will be your interviewer.     Prize Pool distribution The prize pool for the GROUPS stage of BLAST Premier 2022: Spring Season is $177,500 and 3400 PTS points. It will be distributed between the winners as follows: PTS distribution: 1st-3rd places — 1600 pts. 4th-6th places — 800 pts. 7th-9th places — 600 pts. 10th-12th places — 400 pts.
