The BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2022 CS:GO Tournament
We are thrilled to announce the BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2022 for all CS:GO fans. After the Play-in and Last Chance group series, we have a great chance to watch the matches of the Showdown stage, which will last 5 days and will be held in the traditional online format. Participants will compete for a money prize, game points, and a chance to play in the final stage of the Spring Season 2022. The tournament will take place from April 27th until May 1st. The stage is divided into two brackets: American Showdown and European Showdown, each with 8 teams. The total prize pool is $135,000 and 7,500 PTC. For the first place in each bracket, the winners will get $20,000 and 1600 PTC points each, and the chance to play in the finals of the BLAST Premier 2022 Spring Season. For the second place, the participants will receive $12,500 and get 800 PTC points. The esports teams that will get the third and fourth places will earn $7,500 and 500 game points, while teams from the 5th to the 8th places will get $5,000 and 150 points each. The full and up-to-date list of participating teams is the following: Heroic, ENCE, NIP, Astralis, Movistar Riders, Copenhagen Flames, Bad News Eagles, NKT, FURIA, Liquid, Complexity, MIBR, GODSENT, paiN, Evil Geniuses, Sharks. All matches will be held in the traditional Bo3 format, which means “up to two victories”. The esports event will be broadcasted by WePlay Esports in the Ukrainian language. Here’s the list of talents who will cover the spring season of the BLAST Premier SHOWDOWN tournament: the well-known Oleksii "yXo" Maletskyi, who has covered a huge number of esports tournaments; a former professional CS:GO player, analyst and commentator Yuriy "strike" Tereshenko; the analyst, talented commentator and also a former professional esports player Aleksander "Enkanis" Polischuk. The first matches will start today, on April the 27th. The final matches of BLAST Premier 2022: Spring Season will take place on May the 1st at 8:30 pm and 11:30 pm EEST. In just a few days, we will be making a great esports shoe as we always do and as you’re always expecting from us. Live streams will be available on the main page of the weplay.tv website and on the tournament’s page, as well as on YouTube and Twitch platforms on the WePlay Esports official channels.
