BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022

All you need to know about BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022
Counter-Strike fans should be excited, as with the player break coming to an end, it also means the return of BLAST and Tier 1 CS:GO! BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022 will take place between August 19-28th in Copenhagen, Denmark and will feature 12 of the world’s best CS:GO teams divided into three groups. The top team of each group will automatically move on to the Fall Finals, while three more qualifying slots will also be available through the Play-In stage. But fret not, as the six teams that fail to qualify for the Fall Finals during the Fall Groups will have a shot at redemption through the Fall Shodown. The Groups are as follows:
Group A
- Team Vitality
- OG
- Ninjas in Pyjamas
- Astralis
Group B
- Natus Vincere
- Complexity Gaming
- G2 Esports
- Team Liquid
Group C
- FaZe Clan
- Evil Geniuses
- Heroic
- BIG
Given that we’re coming back from the off-season, there have been quite a few roster changes. In Group A, Vitality have acquired Lotan "Spinx" Giladi from ENCE to replace Kévin "misutaaa" Rabier, marking the organization’s shift away from a French core for the first time since entering CS. After an amazing performance standing in during the BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022, OG have opted to permanently sign AWPer Abdulkhalik "degster" Gasanov in place of Mateusz "mantuu" Wilczewski.
Group B has seen the most changes, as G2 has brought in Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen and Justin "jks" Savage to replace in-game leader Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen and long-standing rifler Audric "JACKZ" Jug. Complexity have also bolstered their roster with the addition of Norwegian AWPer Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli, who will take the place of Paytyn "junior" Johnson in the starting lineup. Additionally, NAVI and Liquid have confirmed that they will continue fielding Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev and Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis, respectively, for the event.
Over in Group C, BIG have brought back Nils "k1to" Gruhne in favor of Tizian "tiziaN" Feldbusch after impressive performances from the 23-year-old in WePlay Academy League. Evil Geniuses have also made some very significant changes, signing Kazakh IGL Sanjar "neaLaN" İshakov, Danish coach Daniel "Vorborg" Vorborg, and promoting young star Jadan "HexT" Postma from the EG.CD roster. It’s also worth noting that William "RUSH" Wierzba will play in place of Timothy "autimatic" Ta, who will miss the event due to personal reasons.
