Zipchair предоставит кресла для Overwatch League в сезоне 2020

DreamSeat‘s Zipchair Gaming brand is now the official chair brand of Activision Blizzard’s Overwatch League. 

Prior to this announcement, players have been competing in the company’s Xpression gaming chair all through the playoffs. The deal will cover the rest of 2019 and the upcoming 2020 season.

DreamSeat vice-president of business development, Chandler Suprina, stated in a release: “DreamSeat has been working hand in hand with professional leagues for many years, and the Overwatch League embodies why we all love competitive entertainment. DreamSeat products are used in every professional sports locker room, stadium, and suites—so teaming up with the Overwatch League in the esports arena is a natural progression."

“This partnership provides us with an opportunity to introduce the Zipchair Gaming furniture line to a new segment of fans and align our products and brand with the most exciting esports league out there,” he added. 

The deal includes a license for OWL to distribute and sell chairs with official team logos. DreamSeat will also work with OWL franchises on their stadium, suites and VIP section's seating for the 2020 season. 

Activision Blizzard Esports director of global partnerships, Anthony Theoharis also commented on the deal: “Partnering with DreamSeat allows us to brand our on-stage chairs for each team, without having a different set of chairs for every one of our teams. We’re excited to be working with a company that shares our passion for professional sports and for the Overwatch League brand. We’re pleased to be able to provide a way for our fans to purchase the exact same chair the Overwatch League professionals compete in.”

Compared to rivals such as Playseat, DXRacer and Secretlab, Zipchair Gaming is relatively unknown. This deal will surely boost the brand's reach and status in the esports and gaming markets.
