Transfer Thursday is a brand new regular section where you can learn about significant transfers, resignings, and line-up changes that have happened in the worlds of CS:GO, Dota 2, and other disciplines over the past week.

CS:GO

Gen.G update

Damian "daps" Steele announced his retirement from the Gen.G CS:GO roster. The Canadian has been the cornerstone of the squad since the organization entered the discipline: the roster was built around him and his two teammates Kenneth "koosta" Suen and Timothy "autimatic" Ta. Under his leadership, the club achieved significant success: winners at DreamHack Open Anaheim and ESL One: Road to Rio North American regional tournament.

The player will not leave the team immediately but will finish the 12th season of the ESL Pro League with Gen.G.

Immediately after the announcement of daps' departure, there were rumors about his possible transition to VALORANT. Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik tweeted that his representatives will contact the former Gen.G player.

What's Up With MIBR? They struggled a lot, but when will the line be crossed?

Envy news

Team Envy has completed its roster ahead of the start of the second season of the Flashpoint league. The missing slot was filled by Briton Thomas "Thomas" Utting from Endpoint.

Thomas shined as a member of NoChance, the core of which currently stands for GODSENT. Then his career continued at Phoenix, and in January of this year he became a player in the British Endpoint, but he did not manage to achieve success with the roster. You can read more about the transfer in Felix Bergeron's article: Thomas Rounds Out Team Envy's CS:GO Roster.

ENCE roster changes

ENCE has suspended their coach Slaava "Twista" Räsänen. An experienced mentor admitted to using that bug in one case. The incident happened once in 2017 when Twista coached iGame.com. ESIC assured ENCE that Räsänen could continue to coach the squad pending an investigation, but the club decided to remove the mentor.

HONORIS honors STOMP

HONORIS Esports, founded by the legendary Poles Filip "NEO" Kubski and Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas, said goodbye to their sniper Daniel "STOMP" Płomiński. The player has been a member of HONORIS since May this year after leaving Illuminar. The change was due to unsatisfactory results — the team was unable to make it to the ESL Polish Championship and is holding the last places in the top 100 according to HLTV.

Dota 2

Oh well, a lot of things happened in Dota 2 this week. Let's dig in.

Updating the T1 roster

The Korean esports club T1, playing in Southeast Asia, made another change in the Dota 2 team. Galvin "Meracle" Kang and Nicholas "xFreedom" Kelvin (coach) left the roster. Earlier this summer, Lee "Forev" Sang-don left the roster and was replaced by Samson Solomon Enojosa "Sam_H" Hidalgo. There is currently no information on who will replace the coach and player.
