THQ Nordic тизерит две игры по своим франшизам

E3 is much closer than you might think. The flow of various announcements is about to begin in less than a month, and THQ Nordic will contribute to it in a big way. The company has teased not one – but two new entries for the beloved franchises. Looks like the old school fans are up for a treat.

E3 2019 is obviously losing in scale a bit due to the fact that some major companies won’t be present at the show either completely or partially, but not in the case of THQ Nordic. The company has shared two vague descriptions for the upcoming announcements, and while both games belong to well-known series, there’s nothing specific. According to the publisher, the first game is a remake. It’s a long-awaited return of a globally loved franchise, although we don’t know for sure which one. The second game is more of a continuation, but it still sticks to its own way since the title is described as a new vision for this second franchise.

It is worth noting that THQ Nordic has been purchasing various intellectual properties throughout a couple of years so we can make a few predictions based on that information. The company is no stranger to reviving good old gaming series and giving them a second chance. Perhaps, the most notable recent acquisition is the TimeSplitters IP – and this particular franchise deserves a proper return more than anything else.

Destroy All Humans! might also reappear in one form or another, and THQ Nordic has already treated the series with a few ports for the current generation. Kingdoms of Amalur is a much better candidate for a revival though. But whatever the announcements turn out to be eventually, we are quite sure they are going to be exciting.
