North American esports organization, Sentinels has now established a VALORANT team, signing former Overwatch and CS:GO players to the new roster.
Former professional CS:GO players, Hunter "SicK" Mims and Shahzeeb "ShahZaM" Khan join retired Overwatch player Jay "sinatraa" Won on Sentinel's VALORANT roster. Former Sentinels Apex Legends player, Jared "zombs" Gitlin also made the jump to Riot's tactical shooter, leaving room for just one more player.

SicK and ShahZaM have played together often across multiple teams like Team SoloMid and Complexity. While ShahZaM has been a free agent since leaving Complexity in November 2019, SicK left the month before. Spending just over a month at Chaos Esports Club, SicK eventually retired from competitive CS:GO, calling the game stale.
sinatraa and zombs both previously played Overwatch, but while the former only just retired from competitive play yesterday, zombs left the game for Apex Legends in March 2019. Already playing under the Sentinels flag, it was easy for zombs to make the switch to VALORANT. sinatraa was a dominant force in Overwatch, becoming the 2019 Overwatch League MVP and winning the series with San Francisco Shock.
The VALORANT beta began on April 7, and since then, esports organizations have been building their rosters gradually. Riot recently shared its initial plans for the competitive scene, which has sparked even more excitement among fans.
