Corrupted Monk is a relatively early and harmless boss. She is rather slow and has only one phase, compared to other creatures of the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice world. And you can kill her just by reducing her HP to zero.
Use Ako’s Sugar and Divine Confetti at the beginning of the battle. The first will increase the attack power so that direct damage is enough to kill. The second will ensure that all attacks reach the goal. Most attacks won’t deal damage without Divine Confetti.
The point is to prevent Corrupted Monk from making a single blow. You’ll need the Fistful of Ash and an improvement to Sekiro's Prosthetic Arm - Shinobi Firecracker, that allows you to launch firecrackers.
After each Shinobi Firecracker launch or the Fistful of Ash, you will have time for only two attacks. Then release the disorienting firecrackers again (firecracker, two hits, repeat).
This actions should be enough for all her health or the most part. By this time, the boss’ Posture will be close to filling: you can either parry until she stops, or finish her off in the usual way.
Between the attacks, when Corrupted Monk is wide open, you have one attempt to release the hit. Don’t be greedy and good luck.
You can watch how this advice can be applied in the real battle.
