NIP и mousesports сразятся в гранд-финале Flashpoint 3 сегодня вечером

NIP и mousesports сыграют в гранд-финале Flashpoint 3
It's finally here, the grand final of Flashpoint Season 3! But before we talk about both of today's series, let's quickly go over the two results from Friday. Initially, Team Vitality took on Double Poney in a revenge match that doubled as the 7th place decider. DBL Poney knocked everyone's socks off when they beat Vitality 2-0 in the first series of the event, but things didn't quite go their way in this time around. Vitality started things off strong on their pick of Vertigo, leading 10-5 on the T side. DBL Poney managed to win nine rounds on their own T side thanks to some nice performances from Alexandre "bodyy" Pianaro and Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt, but Vitality closed it out 16-13, snipping the comeback at the bud. Sadly for all the DBL Poney fans out there, it only got worse on their pick of Nuke, as Vitality crushed it in the first half, winning 13-2, and managing to secure the remaining three rounds shortly thereafter. It's unfortunate to see the tale of the dark horse end in such a fashion, but on the bright side, seventh place at the European RMR event, with wins against much more established teams, is still an amazing feat for a team of free agents.
The second match of Friday was the lower bracket final between G2 Esports and Ninjas in Pyjamas, which would determine who qualifies for the grand final. G2 actually managed to upset NiP on their pick of Mirage thanks to a strong performance from François "AMANEK" Delaunay, but actually struggled on their own pick of Inferno, as NiP won the first half 10-5, and closed out the map 16-9, making it 1-1. The decider of Dust II was very close, as Nemanja "nexa" Isaković won some important clutches to keep his team in the game, but Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz and co. outlasted their opponents, winning the map 16-14 and series 2-1. As such, G2 exit the tournament in third place with 1400 RMR points and $7,000 to their name.

The first match of the night will be between Astralis and BIG at 19:00 (MSK). As the 5th place decider, the series doesn't hold too much weight in the grand scheme of things, but earning an extra 100 RMR points can't hurt, especially if teams plan on making roster changes ahead of the next Major. Astralis, despite the roster change just before the start of Flashpoint 3, have actually performed quite well throught the event. BIG, on the other hand, have had varying results, with star players sometimes going missing for entire series. As such, the Danes are likely to win this one, but it could still feasibly go to three maps.
Of course, the match we've all been waiting for is set to start at 22:00 (MSK): the grand final between mousesports and NiP. It'd be crazy to say that mouz aren't slightly favored going into the series, as they're yet to even drop a map this event, but NiP have certainly fought tooth and nail to reach this stage, and are unlikely to just keel over. It's no secret that mouz have struggled to get results since bringing in Christopher "dexter" Nong at the start of the year, but they've reached the grand final from the lower bracket of the closed qualifier. It's also worth mentioning that this is David "frozen" Čerňanský best event since joining mousesports, as he's been able to consistently perform along and even outshine his teammate Robin "ropz" Kool. NiP, on the other hand, have just recently brought in dev1ce, and have had quite the tumultuous path to the grand final, starting with connection issues and a replay at the start of the event. Needless to say, this series is going to be a certified banger, and both of these teams have proved their worth throughout this event.
