HYENAS сразится с Anonymo вместо NIP в матче на вылет

We're back to full days of Counter-Strike with Flashpoint Season 3, but before we talk about today's matches, let's go over the results of the previous days. Due to the Ninjas in Pyjamas vs. Anonymo Esports game being replayed, there was only one match on Saturday. Sprout took on FaZe Clan in the only series of that day, and to everyone's surprise, the Germans managed to defeat the international squad. Once again, it seems like the lack of consistent fragging power has really let FaZe down, despite the team winning Mirage 16-10. Marko "kressy" Đorđević showed up with a really crucial performance on the T side of Dust II to keep his team in the game, and going into the second half, Sprout managed to get the ball rolling and won 16-14. Over on Train, Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken finally came online after a quiet series, but no one else was able to deliver when needed and Sprout closed out the series 2-1, eliminating FaZe from the tournament.

Yesterday, NiP and Anonymo faced off on the final map of Mirage to determine who would continue in the upper bracket. While Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz was the star of the show for the Ninjas when the two teams first met, he had an incredibly poor performance last night. Thankfully, his teammates Fredrik "REZ" Sterner and Hampus "hampus" Poser rose to the occasion, dropping 27 and 25 kills, respectively. Over in the Polish camp, it was a real team effort, with Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski displaying some individual brilliance on the AWP, but sadly for them, they fell short at the final hurdle, and NiP won the map 16-14 and the series 2-1

We have three matches for you today! The first of which is the final match of the lower bracket round 1 between Anonymo Esports and HYENAS. Anonymo really gave NiP a run for their money beforehand, but admitedly, the Swedes had connection issues, so it's hard to gage how well Anonymo will do moving forward. While it's heartbreaking for them to be sent to the lower bracket in this fashion, the Poles need to focus up and concentrate on winning their next match. HYENAS has shown that they're a capable team with experienced players and decent firepower, but the lack of practice as a unit is still going hold them back for the foreseeable future. Anonymo is favored to win this series, especially if Wiktor "mynio" Kruk can perform like he did last week, but HYENAS shouldn't be counted out quite yet.

At 19:00 (MSK), the French Double Poney squad will take on Astralis in the second round of the upper bracket. Admittedly, no one was expecting them to really beat Team Vitality, but they did! So what comes next? Astralis are still the favorites to win the series, but another upset doesn't feel entirely impossible, especially since the Danish squad is still rebuilding after the loss of dev1ce. Domestic matchups are always weird, but DBL Poney really stomped on Vitality, so can they do it again with a team that's infamously hard to upset?

The final series of the night will be between BIG and mousesports. Both teams have done okay recently, but they're certainly not at their peak forms. Everyone in the mouz camp is capable of taking over a game, but besides maybe Robin "ropz" Kool, no one is doing it consistently. The players are still getting comfortable playing with eachother, and Christopher "dexter" Nong is still getting into the swing of things, but this team's ceiling is still undetermined. BIG, on the other hand, has had really mixed results in the online era. At times, they looked like the best team in the world, while just a few weeks later they'd go back to just being a top 10 team. They're a very structured team, and on their good days, they look unstoppable, so it just depends what version of BIG and mouz we get today. And, at the end of the day, as long as İsmailсan "XANTARES" Dörtkardeş is on the roster, BIG is always going to be a threat online.
