Alliance has announced the signing of Gustav "S4" Magnusson to their Dota 2 squad. A pro-scene veteran has already played for the Swedish organization from 2013 to 2014, and then in 2015. Also, during his career, the eminent player managed to play for such titans disciplines like Team Secret, OG and Evil Geniuses.
As a player of Alliance, S4 has conquered The International 2013, and together with Evil Geniuses, he was third in 2018 and sixth in 2019.
Yesterday, Alliance announced that Adrian “Fata” Trinks and Neta “33” Shapira are no longer in the roster. The decision to replace them was made despite the results: the team scored almost enough DPC points to practically guarantee participation in upcoming The International. Nevertheless, the management considered that in order to narrow the gap in the results and the game with the absolutely best teams, they needed to take such a step.
I want to welcome s4 back to the team, I can safely say that I’m not the only one who has missed him in Dota these past couple months. We in Alliance have a long history with s4 and many unforgettable moments. I have no doubts that with s4 back that he can bring Alliance to greatness, I am really happy to announce that s4 is back!
The name of the last Alliance newcomer is not currently known, but the club management confirms that there will be an announce soon.
