WePlay! представляет: Dota 2 Valentine Madness!

They say when you are in love, you are also mad to a certain degree. Since we also happen to be in love with Dota 2, Saint Valentine's Day is a perfect time period for one of our Madness Dota 2 events.

Dota 2 fans are welcome to Valentine Madness, a new $100,000 Dota 2 tournament that will be taking place from February 10th to February 16th. We are inviting a roster of fantastic players and casters that will keep you and hopefully your significant other entertained.

• Twelve teams play in the 3 Games Guarantee bracket
• Eight teams invited to the Round of 12
• Four teams are invited to the Quarterfinals

Since the WePlay! Dota 2 tournaments have a word “Madness” in their names, we aren’t shy of busting the unusual formats. For Valentine Madness, we’ve prepared a 3 Game Guarantee system where each participant has a chance to stay even if they’ve lost in the first round of the lower bracket.

How it works: say a team lost in the first round of the upper bracket, then also lost in the first round of the lower bracket. That team fights against another team with similar results, and the winner is seeded to the next round of the lower bracket — that way each participant is guaranteed to play at least three series.

• The first and the second round of the lower bracket are bo1 series.
• All the rest of the matches except the Grand Finals are bo3 series.
• The Grand Finals is a bo5 series.
