As the world continues to fight the coronavirus COVID-19, the deadly disease spreads even further. As a result, Capcom has reevaluated the situation regarding its Street Fighter tournament circuit, Capcom Pro Tour.
In a new statement, the company announced the removal of all events scheduled to take place in the first half of the year. This means from the date of the announcement until the end of June.

Currently, the novel coronavirus is projected to continue for several more months or longer across the world. In light of this situation and considering the health and well-being of our players, staff, and visitors, all tournaments scheduled to be held in the first half of the 2020 Capcom Pro Tour season have been removed from the schedule.
All the events affected by this news are Armor Break, BAM 12, CEO, Combo Breaker, Headstomper, Texas Showdown, TGU, The Fight, and Undefeated. This year Capcom had initially adopted a new structure that split the season into two separate phases, Capcom Pro Tour 2020 A and B.
Capcom Pro Tour will now resume in July, with Game Over most likely the next event considering its July 4 date. The developer did also mention that it would continue to monitor the situation and act accordingly.
