Netflix работает над сериалом по Resident Evil

Resident Evil 2 Remake releases today. Capcom's new-but-old game received applauds from the press, fans appreciated the demo and we hope that the remake is worth it. But suddenly some news dropped: Netflix is working on a TV show based on the RE franchise. This information was indicated in the Deadline report, which turned out to be rather meagre in details. German company Constantin Film — the one responsible for the Resident Evil movieverse — are producing the series. A new TV show will broaden the story, describing the inner workings of Umbrella Corporation and the consequences that the T-virus had after leaking into the world. 

We remind you that Netflix has already successfully transferred Castlevania to an episodic-show format, and now they are working on The Witcher adaptation with Henry Cavill playing Geralt and the anime-version of Devil May Cry.
