NAVI победила на благотворительном турнире Gamers Without Borders 2020

Ukrainian esports organization, Natus Vincere won last weekend’s Gamers Without Borders CS:GO charity tournament organized by the Saudi Arabian Federation for Electronic & Intellectual Sports (SAFEIS), Electronic Sports League (ESL), and the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Sports.

Natus Vincere faced FaZe Clan in the Semifinals before advancing to the Grand Final match against mousesports. Taking the first two maps, Natus Vincere took the second map, Dust II with a 10 point lead. However, their luck turned around from here as mousesports would go on to take the next two maps, Nuke and Train. In the end, Natus Vincere won the last map 15-12 and the tournament as a result.

The event included a show match between North American squads, 100 Thieves, and Team Liquid, which the former won, 2-0. Both teams got to split an additional $250,000 between charities of their choice. $150,000 from 100 Thieves victory went to UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) while the remainder was given to Direct Relief. As for the finalists, Natus Vincere won $750,000 for UNICEF, while mousesports’ $500,000 went to ITU (International Telecommunication Union).

Back in March, WePlay! held the WeSave! Charity Play tournament, which was a regional series with HellRaisers, Team Nigma, PSG.LGD, Evil Geniuses, Thunder Predator, and Team Adroit winning in their respective divisions. The tournament raised $188,879.69 for the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations ( CEPI ) and GlobalGiving charitable foundations.

Gamers Without Borders CS:GO charity tournament featured a charity prize pool of $2,000,000.
