Google has revealed the 12 launch titles that will be available for purchase when the Stadia arrives on November 19. Fourteen more games will arrive before the end of 2019.
On the list are a couple of blockbusters like Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Destiny 2: The Collection, and the most recent series of Tomb Raider games. Last year's Red Dead Redemption 2 and two of this year's fighters Mortal Kombat 11 and Samurai Shodown are also listed.
Google previously confirmed that over 40 games would be coming to Stadia, but this announcement indicates that many of them won't be available until next year. The additional 14 games will arrive through the rest of 2019, but specific dates are unavailable. Here’s the list:
Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle
Dragonball Xenoverse 2
Farming Simulator 19
Final Fantasy 15
Football Manager 2020
Ghost Recon Breakpoint
The big blockbuster releases on Stadia arrive next year with the likes of Cyberpunk 2077, Doom: Eternal, Gods and Monsters, and Watch Dogs: Legion. Sadly, the upcoming Ubisoft games were delayed in October and won’t see release until sometime after April 1, 2020.
Google also hasn’t revealed how much individual games will cost, but they did mention in the past that they should match the regular price of other platforms. This lack of information has got some fans feeling uncomfortable since Stadia launches in just a week.
All Stadia Pro subscribers will receive a free game each month. The first game to make its way to the subscription service is Destiny 2: The Collection, and for a $10 deal, it feels like a steal.
