Hey there! Welcome again to our weekly article where we follow the events of the Dota Pro Circuit winter league. The upcoming seven days are a bit special: The Chinese region is going on a two-week vacation, and the CIS might have the first two Major participants by the end of the week. As always, we bring you five main matches of this week, this time focusing on Europe and the CIS. All matches are listed chronologically.

Team Nigma (2-2) — OG (2-1)

When: Feb 9, 18:00 CET

Europe continues to delight us with super matches: today the champions of the last three TIs will clash. The match is extremely important from a tournament point of view: of the eight teams so far, only the almighty Team Secret and the lagging High Coast Esports are taking the obvious positions, the rest continue to fight together for the top 4 to get a ticket to the Singapore Major.

OG skipped last week and will have to feel the full wrath of Team Nigma, who had an unusually bad last week. KuroKy and his team lost to both Team Secret and Vikin.gg. The third defeat in a row can significantly reduce the team's chances of a successful result. For this reason, we are expecting an extremely tense game of three maps.

OG (2-1) — Vikin.gg (1-2)

When: Feb 13, 18:00 CET

Even though OG have gained momentum and might get super-motivated after losing/winning Team Nigma the match before, Vikin.gg will tear the veins in order to catch on any possible points. The Vikings don't really care who to win, so we might see a dynamic and fun match between the teams: both rosters like to play aggressively and speedy.

Team Secret (4-0) — Alliance (2-1)

When: Feb 13, 21:00 CET

The intrigue of this match is extremely simple: if Team Secret wins, they guarantee their ride to Singapore. Maths, people, maths! Alliance, on the other hand, also must earn points because in Europe the struggle is too tight.

LiveToWin (2-2) — Natus Vincere (4-0)

When: Feb 14, 15:00 CET

Team Spirit (2-2) — Virtus.pro (4-0)

When: Feb 14, 18:00 CET

The week will end in a spectacular and important CIS doublet. These matches should be viewed exclusively in pairs, because both NAVI and VP are the two division leaders with 4-0 scores (but VP haven't lost a single map while NAVI are 8-1, so the Bears are 1st), and if they win, they guarantee themselves the Singapore Major tickets. Both leaders are up and running so far, and they will have to play against their closest pursuers. It is noteworthy that all four teams were invited by Valve at the end of last year, and now they are confirming their status as the strongest.
