ESL has revealed all the teams that will be competing in ESL One: Road to Rio. The CS:GO Regional Major Ranking (RMR) event will begin on April 22 in the Americas and Europe, April 30 in CIS, and May 6 in Asia and Oceania.

The Valve sponsored event will feature a $255,000 prize pool that's split between all regions. Europe receives the lion’s share at $115,000, followed by North America with $60,000, and CIS with $50,000. Asia, Oceania, and South America will all receive $10,000 each. Teams will also be awarded RMR points for their performance, which will determine the organizations that make it to the ESL One Rio Major in November.

Europe, CIS, and North America events are split into two round-robin, best-of-3 groups. While the top four teams in Europe will advance to the double-elimination Playoffs, CIS and North America will have the top three advance to a single-elimination bracket instead.

South America and Oceania will also use a similar format, but after the round-robin group stage, the top team will advance to the Final while the runner-up and third-place move to meet in the semifinals instead. Asia has the most significant difference in format, with only the top two teams moving onto the single-elimination bracket.
