As the Coronavirus continues to spread across the globe, more events are getting canceled, travel is restricted, and those living in areas exposed to COVID-19 are forced to remain indoors.
Popular VoIP application and digital distribution platform Discord, has now expanded its chat and livestream options to help those affected by the Coronavirus outbreak. The company hopes that this will help those affected maintain contact with others, like employees and students that work remotely.
As a result, Discord has increased its screen share and live streaming capacity from 10 to 50 users for the next few months. However, the company also stated that it would keep the limit up for as long as its critically needed, so a few months could become a lot more if the situation hasn't improved by then.
