Cyberpunk 2077 is the gift that keeps giving. Following the game's deep dive video which also included developer interviews, CD Projekt Red have finally decided to give fans the answer they've been waiting for. Yes, multiplayer is in the works. 

In an official Tweet, CDPR confirmed that it's working on multiplayer for the game but didn't go into details about what it would entail. As for a timeline, it stated that they will invite fans "for some multiplayer action" after releasing the game's DLC and other single-player content. 

The Tweet also enlists the aid of the skilled public, providing a link to the company's current job openings. There are 8 vacancies for Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer and an additional 26 for other aspects of the highly anticipated game, indicating that there's still a lot of work left before the game is available on April 2020.

CDPR has continued to fuel the hype for Cyberpunk 2077 which has led some to entertain the scary thought that maybe the game won't be able to deliver on all the promises. Based on what we saw in the deep dive though, the game hasn't disappointed yet.
