Almost 7 years have passed since the release of CS:GO, but what should be called "obvious changes" is only coming out now. In the new patch, which was released on the night of May 15, Valve made regular corrections, but there are a couple of new features as well.
The bonus for the lost round streaks will now always be reduced to $2,900 after the team that loses five or more rounds in a row wins the next one.
The main menu now has a function to search for a team. Now you can set the "Looking for Play" status, and the player will immediately become visible to anyone who needs a partner to play matchmaking. There will be no more annoying invitations from random players if you don't want them.
There's also now a special menu with all significant upcoming events in the CS:GO world. You can now open a separate link for each tournament that leads to HLTV.org. Favourite an interesting tournament to receive notifications about the matches.
A small but significant change involves the lobby. Now your friend will not be able to jump into the lobby if the game search has already begun. It was extremely unpleasant when an annoying and arrogant person from your Steam friend list entered the lobby on his own which interrupted the search, causing everyone to go nuts and begin showing hatred towards people.
Ruby and Workout maps have also been updated. Several corrections were made in the Danger Zone mode. You can find the full list of changes here.
