German multinational automobile company BMW has revealed a new partnership with five of the world’s leading esports organizations. They are Cloud9, Fnatic, FunPlus Phoenix, G2 Esports, and T1.
The partnership includes what you would normally expect, like online and offline activations, content creation, and the company logo on uniforms. However, BMW has much bigger plans for the deal. The car manufacturer’s engineers and designers will also develop hardware and software products through the sharing of technologies to support each organization’s activities. Lastly, every team receives a team car that features custom livery designed by both BMW and each organization, which they will use for both practical and advertising purposes.

The campaign champions the ideals behind “United in Rivalry” and “United at Home,” which reminds fans and the community of the need to be united in all things but physically apart in these trying times.
This deal is just one of the many campaigns BMW has launched in the esports industry since 2017, when the company became the official partner of the European League of Legends Finals.
