Ambrasia Multimedia анонсировала новый турнир по Street Fighter V

Ambrasia Multimedia has announced the Street Fighter V: Road to Tokyo Asia Invitational 2019. It is a Capcom-licensed event that will have players from six Asian nations compete against each other. Specifically, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. 

The tournament begins with online singles qualifiers for each country, its registration running from July 23 to August 2. The international qualifier follows on August 30, where national teams fight for three Asia Invitational slots. The final stage occurs during Tokyo Game Show on September 12-15 when the three qualified teams join team Japan in the top 4 finals competition. The teams that qualify for the Asia Invitational 2019 finals will also receive an all-expense-paid trip to Tokyo to attend the finals. 

In a press release, Minsoo Kim, CEO of Ambrasia Multimedia stated: “This team format is a fantastic format which gives players the chance to represent their countries. Fans will be able to root for their national teams and dream about representing their country in the future.”

A documentary following the events of the invitational will also be produced by Ambrasia Multimedia, telling the stories and sharing the experiences of the players that compete.
