The 32-year old retired from competitive CS:GO in September 2019 after the BLAST Pro Series Moscow event. Zeus is often deemed to have one of the best tactical minds in all of CS. He has hoisted an IEM trophy twice in his career and won a Major in 2017.
Zeus reminisced on his career in an interview with IEM after he was chosen to bear the trophy:

At IEM Season IV our greatest rivals were Fnatic, we played in different groups. We knew they were very strong, they'd already won IEM before and they were defending their title. IEM Katowice 2020 is set to start on Monday, February 24, and run all week until Sunday, March 1.
