Today on Twitter, both Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro and Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik of Swole Patrol announced their departure from the team.
Swole Patrol was relegated from ESL Pro League Season 10 a few days ago after losing to MIBR, FURIA Esports and Team Envy. Failing to take a single map, the team wound up at the bottom of Group A.
Subroza was benched by Ghost Gaming in early 2019, but was eventually picked up by Swole Patrol in March. He was only there for about two weeks when Lazarus Esports signed the orgless team. The Canadian pro has also played for teams like Counter Logic Gaming, ACE Gaming and FRENCH CANADIANS.
Zellsis first joined Swole Patrol in January 2018. He then moved to Cloud9 on trial from December 2018 to March 2019. During this time he played at iBUYPOWER Masters, the ELEAGUE Invitational, and the IEM Katowice Major before returning to Swole Patrol.
The orgless team has had a hard year. They were dropped by Lazarus Esports after failing to qualify for StarLadder Berlin Major Americas Minor. The team also failed to qualify for DreamHack Masters Malmö and now their devastating ESL Pro League loss.
Both of them are interested in offers from Europe and North America, with the hopes of finding a much better fit. They leave behind, Braxton "swag" Pierce, Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker, Jason "neptune" Tran and their coach, Danny "fRoD" Montaner.
