Bethesda has abruptly released The Elder Scrolls: Blades client for iOS and Android. Anyone can download the title, but the developers have limited the amount of people who can play it. Once you download the client, a cinematic will start followed by a practice battle. After the battle, the game prompts to enter the login and password of the Bethesda account and then shows this:
The iPhone users are bombarding The Elder Scrolls: Blades with negative reviews mostly complaining that the game doesn’t support iPhone 6. It installed on my iPhone 7+ but refused to download on a low-end Android tablet.
The Elder Scrolls: Blades is a free to play title with microtransactions. It was announced during E3 2018 as a first-person RPG with console quality graphics on mobile devices. The game contains both preset and procedurally generated dungeons.
This week, Bethesda is celebrating the 25th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls with special deals and temporally free access to The Elder Scrolls Online. On March 29 and 30, visitors of Pax East 2019 will be able to meet TES developers who participate in Bethesda Game Days.
