PUBG streamer Félix “xQc” Lengyel recently received a 24 hour ban from the game due to “unusual gameplay patterns.” He received the message right after quitting a match, but with no idea of why.

However, some Redditors believe he received the ban due to mass reports of cheating from players on the server that were feeling rather after he killed them with a boat. In a matter of seconds he effortlessly killed 13 players with a simple boat maneuver, essentially taking out about one fourth of the players on the server.

If true, it would mean that xQc received a certain amount of reports which triggered an auto ban against him. Set for only 24 hours, it would temporarily deny him access to the game until either his time is served, or a human review determines that he received an unfair ban. It sets a bad precedent if skillful players get punished for being good at a game.
