XBOCT and Funn1k join Team Empire ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

A little less than a day left before the end of transfer period at Dota2 pro scene, allotted by Valve for teams to perform any shift in their squads. After the 8th of December all changes will be severely punished: the team with such changes will be deprived both direct invites to the next Major and invitational to the regional qualifying.

"The roster, that went to Vilnius and Moscow was only one of the variants for future Team Empire. We have continued to test the players and watched the newcomers.

However, the team performance at GameShow Global Cup #1 exceeded all expectations. Gleb «Funn1k» Lipatnikov and Alexander «XBOCT» Dashkevich perfectly complete the team during the tournament and showed a great skill. Fans immediately like the new Team Empire's roster. Admit that it would be unfair not to allow this squad to test their strength at the Major.

So today XBOCT and Funn1k officially joins to Team Empire. The first serious test for guys - WCA 2015 in China.

We believe, that Team Empire will be able to earn invite to the winter Major and will continue to delight fans with victories, cos it's time to regain winning streak back!"

The Dota2 squad of Team Empire:

  • Roman «Resolut1on» Fominok
  • Alexander «Nofear» Churochkin
  • Illiya «ALOHADANCE» Korobkin
  • Gleb «Funn1k» Lipatnikov
  • Alexander «XBOCT» Dashkevich
  • Alexander «Flow» Sazonov (substitution)
