The next title from Remember Me and Life is Strange developer Dontnod Entertainment is a vampire role-playing game set after World War 1. The game--called Vampyr--was announced Tuesday during a reveal event attended by The Sixth Axis. It will be published by Focus Home Interactive.

Details on the project are light at the moment, but The Sixth Axis reports that you'll play as a doctor who gets bitten by a patient with the Spanish Flu, transforming him into a vampire.

The "Y" in the spelling of vampire reportedly relates to the moral choices the doctor must make. As a doctor, he wants to heal people, but his vampire nature makes him want to kill and feed. The game's tagline is "Take Blood, Save a Life."

France-based Dontnod is already at work on a time-bending episodic game, Life is Strange, which will be published by Square Enix. Like other studios, Dontnod has now divided into two teams internally to work on Life is Strange and Vampyr simultaneously.

Vampyr is reportedly still very early on in development. A release date has not been announced, nor have any details regarding platforms. We'll have more details on Vampyr as they become available.
