Winstrike rebuild their CS:GO roster

After drastic changes the lineup seems to be complete

Winstrike is a one big chapter itself if you ask anyone in Counter-Strike community. Year ago, the lineup was built around “no name” players, but went pretty well on server while the roster shocked everyone at ELEAGUE Major in Boston 2017, where the CIS squad not only won the Open Qualifier but also earned a status of Legends with 3-0 record.

At that time the players competed in Quantum Bellator Fire (more known as QBFire) jersey and looked really strong. Unfortunately, with a new organization things has changed and this year the squad failed really hard at FACEIT Major in London, failing to win at least one map and ending up on the last place. After that Russian organization took a drastic step and benched all players except Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov.

According to the official twitter, the organization revealed a new lineup, getting two long time members of the rival FlipSid3 Tactics - Jan “wayLander” Rahkonen and Georgi “WorldEdit” Yaskin. Lithuanian sniper Aurimas “Kvik” Kvakšys came back from a backup position and the last piece of the puzzle will be a 17-year old talent David “n0rb3r7” Danielyan, who burst onto the CIS scene at the start of this year under dAT and WINside.

The new Winstrike lineup looks as follows:

  • Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov
  • Aurimas "Kvik" Kvakšys
  • Jan "wayLander" Rahkonen
  • Georgi "WorldEdit" Yaskin
  • David "n0rb3r7" Danielyan
  • Dmitry "iksou" Mikhaylichenko (coach)

  • Gregory "balblna" Oleinick (benched)
  • Savelii "jmqa" Bragin (benched)
  • Nikita "waterfaLLZ" Matveyev (benched)
