Who could Smash Bros. Ultimate's ARMS character be?

Since Nintendo announced in March that the next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC character would be revealed in June, it's become increasingly harder to wait patiently as the month continues.
Following the long silence, many a fan began to harbor the fear that maybe Nintendo wouldn't fulfill their promise because the coronavirus pandemic had further slowed down development. Fortunately, that isn't the case, as their latest announcement from Friday stated that the big reveal would take place in a livestream on June 22, which happens to be tomorrow.
Now that we're sure the character reveal will still take place, and soon for that matter, there's no better time than the present to speculate on who we could be seeing join the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster. ARMS launched in June 2017 with an initial lineup of ten characters, but by the end of the year, the roster had swelled to fifteen characters.
For my prediction, I'm going to pick three of my favorite characters, I believe, could make it into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Two will be from the initial ten, while the third will be from the additional five to give both portions of the roster representation. So here goes;
I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but that just proves how much I believe (or want) Twintelle to make it into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The French actress was first introduced in a May 2017 Nintendo Direct, which quickly made her a fan favorite.
Twintelle is the only character in ARMS that uses her hair to do battle and, during the creation process, was one of the hardest characters to make, according to game director Yosuke Yabaki. Twintelle's silvery-pink pigtails, combined with her athletic build and mysterious nature, made her an instant win for myself and many fans.
Sadly, she doesn't quite fit the bill since she joined Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a spirit, and there's been a theory that trophy and spirit characters won't be included as DLC characters. I still felt the need to add her to my list, and who knows, she could be the one to disprove this rule.
Other ARMS characters represented in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as spirits are Min Min, Ninjala, and Ribbon Girl, while Spring Man exists as a trophy character. All five of them are some of the most popular ARMS characters.
King Cobra, the ARMS fighter with a career as a professional snakeboarder and live streamer, is my second pick because of how "rad" he is. Kid Cobra is also one of the few people in the gameworld born with ARMS, a rarity that makes him a perfect addition.
Due to his abilities in ARMS, I see Kid Cobra making it to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as some sort of charge character with superior maneuverability. This ability could result in low damage output, but with him ducking and weaving all over the stage, it's a worthy sacrifice. He's also got the range of his arms (which could be easily punished) and high jump distance on his side.
The rad scientist Dr. Coyle is my third pick because she's the coolest antagonist in the game. The ARMS director has a design based on electricity and is responsible for creating the characters Hedlok, Helix, and Springtron.
From an ability standpoint, I believe she will be a defensive character if she ever makes it into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. That's because of her ability to guard even when she levitates, slight invulnerability, and the absence of a normal jump state. She can also activate an additional arm when two just aren't enough, and then there's her temporary invisibility, which could make her a nightmare to oki.
Besides being something of a tank, Dr. Coyle could also be a good zoner, and her levitation would be useful in applying pressure on her opponents.
I should probably add Springtron since he's technically not in the fighting game yet, but considering he's based on Spring Man, you could argue that he is in the game. However, a Springtron fighter with a Spring Man echo would be perfect additions to the game.
The fighting machine has an EMP attack that would either translate Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a stun that may not affect the entire roster or will affect them differently. His ability to deflect attacks could also be used as a counter, especially since the ability is initiated by a shockwave.
So that's my list of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate contenders from ARMS. Tomorrow we get to find out just how right or wrong I am, but whatever the outcome, we get a new character added to the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate lineup.
Tomorrow's reveal will be the first character of Fighters Pass 2, which costs $29.99 and can be pre-purchased now. Five more characters are included in the upcoming DLC pack, including a new stage, BGM for each character, and a bonus Mii Swordfighter costume.
