What to expect from upcoming Cs_summit 3? ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!
As we have informed you a few days ago, organizers from Beyond the Summit has announced the third edition of popular CS:GO event called CS_summit 3 with the schedule and team list has been also released.
Set to take place in Los Angeles, the USA from November 1-4, the $150,000 tournament will be played in a double-elimination, best-of-three bracket, with the grand final featuring a best-of-five series. With bracket has been released, let’s have a deeper look to first matches.
In the first match of the day, Americans NRG (owned by popular basketball player Shaquille O'Neal) will face Canadian rising stars from Ghost. From NRG squad, we have been seen a really impressive performance from Bulgarian 18-year-old main AWPer Tsvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov with some support of Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte and Ethan “nahtE” Arnold. On the other side, Ghost impressed all of us in the last LAN event in Hong Kong at ZOTAC Cup Master where the team finished at 3rd place. In this match, it’s really hard to predict the final result, but if I have to, I would put my money on NRG (just love the way CeRq is playing). Americans will win 2:1.
The second match will be played between Polish Kinguin featuring legends such as Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas who is playing this game for more than 10 years against Scandinavian team Heroic. If I mentioned the legend in KINGUIN lineup, we can’t forget on 29-years-old Andreas “MODDII” Fridh, who did the biggest step especially in Counter-Strike 1.6 where he was just a headshot machine in SK-Gaming jersey. Also, Adam “friberg” Friberg remember the golden era of team NiP in the beginnings of the CS:GO where the Swedish five had the biggest win streak of all time 87 winning maps on LAN. Pretty impressive right? Yeah, I know… However, if I take into the current form of both teams, I think Polish guys will leave the server as a winner. My predictions are 2:0 for team KINGUIN.
The third match will be probably the most interesting match to watch of all. German machine BIG will fight for the first win against French “super team” G2. If you watched last Major of 2018, you probably fall in love (like most of the scene) with first UK player in adult CS:GO scene Owen”smooya” Butterfield. This guy is just so fast with AWP and really funny too. On the other hand, nicknames like Richard “shox” Papillon and Kenny “kennyS” Schrub always promising good CS. My tip will be 2:0 for BIG, BUT, it will be really close and beautiful match in my opinion.
The first day of Cs_summit will close the match of hometown team compLexity against team OpTic from Denmark. Danish players just made the roster changes while Nicklas “gade” Gade went back to the team where he started his professional career, team North and was replaced by Nikolaj “niko” Kristensen. In my eyes, the Danish lineup looks really strong on paper but will need some time to get a right chemistry in the team. Meanwhile, compLexity did their best, while the squad surprised the whole world on FACEIT Major where they reached top-8 and earned The Status Legends for the first time in the CS:GO history. Especially names like Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan and Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz have to show their experience, while the both already played for the most prestigious organizations in the world such as Cloud9, team Liquid or OpTic Gaming to reach the first win in Los Angeles. I think it will be another close match up, but I will go with the underdog and put my money on the team from the USA. CompLexity will win the series 2:0.
The tournament will start at Thursday, November 1 at 5 P.M. CET and the whole crew of WePlay.tv will watch closely the entire matches to cover the best moments for you, supporters of the best fps game ever made. The matches will be casted in English, while the famous ex-players and analytics will guide you with the show. American Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert, Swedish Robin "Fifflaren" Johansson or Finish Tomi "lurppis" Kovanen will drop the mouse for a while and try to cast the best possible show in the USA. See you on stream folks!
