What to expect from Teamfight Tactics in 2020 and 2021 ⚡⚡⚡ Esports news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!
Introduction
Teamfight Tactics was released by Riot games nearly one year ago, which is just crazy to think of. Although some people thought that Riot Games wouldn't succeed win this title, they turned out to be wrong. After one year, it's safe to say that this is one of the most popular auto-battlers out there.
Having said that, a recent video was uploaded, where we got to learn about some of the plans for our favorite game. So, without further ado, here are some of the things we can expect to find.
Set 4 is coming soon
As expected, we learned a little bit of information about the upcoming Set 4. Even though Set 3 is pretty interesting, there is just something about it that doesn't appeal to a lot of people. That's why we hope that Set 4 will fix things.
What's interesting about it is that we will see some pretty cool skins such as the Spirit Blossom. On top of that, there will be several special units, such as Lulu, God Fist Lee Sin, Kennen, Blood Moon Elise, and more.
Unless something drastic happens, we should see the end of Set 3 somewhere in September. In fact, there is going to be a world championship that will take place in early September. A few weeks after that, we will finally see the beginning of Set 4, which should last for approximately six months. Set 5 is scheduled to be released around spring of 2021, which means that we will have a lot of time to play on Set 4.
Spectator Mode
One of the biggest things that was announced is that there are plans to add a Spectator mode to Teamfight Tactics. This will definitely make everything a lot easier for the fans. However, we don't know the exact information as to when should we expect this mode. Hopefully, it will arrive alongside Set 4.
A new currency
Last, but definitely not least, we also learned that Riot might add a special new currency to Teamfight Tactics. The idea is to allow players to have easier access to cosmetic upgrades.
