The International 2019 finalists

Kuro and the company went through a fire, water, and two finals of The International with just one replacement - the midlaner, Lasse "MATUMBAMAN" Urpalainen who has been replaced by Aliwi "w33" Omar in June 2019.

Team review before the tournament

The performance of Team Nigma is not stable this season. The team failed to qualify for DreamLeague S13 directly, but was able to earn a slot for Major by winning WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020.

The team of stars took 9-12th place in Leipzig, losing to the Peruvians from beastcoast in the playoffs. Team Nigma also performed at the ESL One Los Angeles 2020 qualifiers not in a way they wanted to: the third place in the group and a ticket to the qualifiers for the Minor.

Despite the in-game problems, the team should not be written off. Their squad is filled with the highest tier players, who have repeatedly proved their skills against every opponent they faced. Even though Team Nigma had the unsuccessful performance on DreamLeague S13, Miracle- became the best player in the tournament with an average of 10.09 kills per game.

Team Nigma’s last two LAN-tournaments signature heroes:

• Lich - 100% winrate
• Phantom Lancer - 75% winrate

Recently, Nigma has been actively picking Razor for the second position and a pair of Puck + Earthshaker. Current meta's Slardar, Snapfire, and Void Spirit have been played a little less often. Let's see if KuroKy's fighters can return to the victorious path - it won't be easy in Kyiv!
