Gambit Esports
A CIS squad, WePlay! tournaments regular visitor, the lineup everyone in the region is talking about and just great guys: Gambit Esports join WePlay! Mad Moon to show everyone how good they are!
Let's take a look at the roster according to their positions:
- Kiyalbek "dream`" Tayirov
- Rostislav "fn" Lozovoi
- Maksim "Shachlo" Abramovskikh
- Danial "XSvamp1Re" Alibaev
- Artyom "fng" Barshak
Team review
Gambit were unsuccessful during the qualifications for Los Angeles Major, but the Reds easily progressed to the upcoming Minor and will try to break into a premier tournament for the second time this year through his “younger relative”. At WePlay! Bukovel Minor, captain fng was leading his folks, and even foreign teams expected to see them at least in the finals but something went wrong. Nevertheless, a regular (and even a multiple winner) of our tournaments will be able to prove themselves to the public in an updated roster.
And even despite the fact that now the team is living through an exciting moment, they have something to surprise us all. Firstly, Artyom “fng” Barshak — it’s no less interesting to follow the captain's actions than the rest of the four. He is a true team veteran. Secondly, Rostislav “fn” Lozovoi is a stand-in that replaces Danil “gpk” Skutin. Rostislav is by no means a young and inexperienced guy: he has a lot of pro games behind him, and he can prove to everyone that he plays at least as well. And of course, don't leave the three of dream` Shachlo and XSvamp1Re overboard: they came together quite recently, but they look like guys who have known each other for a hundred years.
Gambit Signature Heroes
- Earth Spirit 61 games, 67% won
- Ursa 43 games, 69% won
- SF 39 games, 67% won

Prediction
Gambit will have a difficult tournament, but they definitely have chances for high places. Opponents know that they are strong, which means that Gambit should expect to be named underdogs. However, the boys play well and their current form is perfect: they will enter the top-4 confidently, and maybe have even a higher place.
Keep a look at!
- fn — the new carry has something to show and to prove.
- Artyom's picks are a different kind of story to speak about. The Belarusian Puppey can both outplay rivals and himself.
- Daxak might try to overcome the former team if his Ninjas in Pajamas meet with Gambit.
- “Gambit” an opening move in which a player makes a sacrifice, typically of a pawn, for the sake of a compensating advantage. Will team tactics follow their name?
- Gambit love WePlay! tournaments - they won Winter and Valentine Madness, got fourth at Minor. Looking forward to success?
Gambit Trivia
A worthy leader. No Gambit player was as committed to the team as Fng - he played more matches for the Reds than anyone else.
The CIS Power. There's a Ukrainian, a Belarusian, a Russian, a Kyrgyz and a Kazakh in Gambit's current roster.
Experience > Stats. fng played more matches and has better KDA for Team Spirit, but his Gambit victories percentage is much higher.
Arachnophobia. No one ever picked Broodmother at Gambit.
A real pro. Dream` and XSvamp1Re have more than 300 official matches summed. fng alone has played 1,500+ official matches over his entire career — more than all the other active Gambit players combined.
