WePlay Esports to hold the second DPC 2021 Major!

Big Dota's back in Kyiv! WePlay Esports AniMajor Announcement!
Ohayo! Many of you have asked when we will host a major Dota 2 tournament again. We hope it was worth the wait, because the time has come to announce that WePlay Esports, together with Valve Corporation, will host WePlay AniMajor, the second Dota 2 Major of 2021!
Eighteen top teams from around the world will come to Kyiv early this summer to fight for the $500,000 prize pool and 2,700 DPC points. The exact dates are June 2-13th, 2021. This will be the last opportunity for the participants to collect precious points to get into the top 12 of the Dota Pro Circuit rating—can you feel the pressure?
With the stakes higher than ever, we’ll do our best to make the greatest tournament of all time. Becoming Hokage is the dream of many shinobi, so our goal is to become the most-watched tournament in the history of Dota 2 Majors.
To the Dota players out there, help us create a legend!
Unfortunately, the epidemiological situation in Kyiv does not allow us to receive guests: the tournament will be closed to spectators, as the players and employees’ safety is our highest priority.
At 21:00 CET on May 16th, there will be a Reddit AMA session (follow our Twitter to learn more), and we will be pleased to answer all of your questions. Speakers list:
-
Maksym Bilonogov, WePlay Esports General Producer & CVO
-
Anton Tokarev, Lead Esports Manager
-
Vitaliy Bozhko, Lead Esports Manager
If you miss the AMA, don’t fret, as we’ll compile all the questions and answers afterwards!
Stay tuned, it will only get more interesting!
