WePlay Esports is launching a new project, “Girls Got Game”

WePlay Esports is launching a new project, “Girls Got Game." Our purpose with this project is to empower, embolden, and embrace women in esports.
Esports is developing by leaps and bounds. Ten years ago, few imagined the scale with which this direction would unfold. Lots of people work and put their enthusiasm into the development of esports.
Esports is not only tournaments and the participants themselves. It is thousands of people on screen and behind the scenes who ensure this huge machine's movement.
We are launching a project to draw attention to many bright personalities present in esports today. And, most importantly, to dispel myths and possible fear of young talents who may think: "This is not for me, this is a man's world."
Many talented girls become professional players or develop esports through journalism, commentating, streaming, photography, marketing, and many other areas every day.
Esports is for everyone, for all ages and genders. We are all unique in our own way. Don't let your talent go to waste; believe in yourself! We hope that our project’s participants’ stories will inspire you to follow your dreams and not be afraid of any obstacles.
The "Girls Got Game" project is a series of interviews with girls who "live and breathe" esports. Do you consider yourself one of them and have an interesting story that you want to share with us? Email us (a.kruglyak@weplay.tv) or tag us on social media using the hashtag #girlsgotgame or #womeninesports — we will contact you.
