WePlay! Esports — Frauds Statement ⚡⚡⚡ Esports news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!
Today, in the era of fast and progressive technologies, the world doesn’t tend to slow down. And with all the beautiful things surrounding us, as always, there’s something unpleasant to keep the balance. In this case, we’re speaking about online frauds — the greater the tech is, the more frequent and harmful they are. In particular, we would like to mention online activities related to WePlay! Esports website.
We’ve noticed that there appeared some duplicate sites of the original WePlay! Esports website. There are a couple, but they are not in any way connected with us.
Fraud website — here’s how it looks:

We urge you not to visit these sites for the safety of your personal data.
“Such fake sites are often created to mislead and deceive users. Their goal is to steal personal information and use it for illegal purposes”, says Viktoriya Klymchuk, Head of Legal Department at WePlay! Esports.
"Fraudsters set up lookalike sites to phish Steam accounts”, — Yevhen Kovalevskyi, Chief Product Officer at WePlay! Esports comments.

Steam account phishers can do two things: a) steal users’ inventories — the sums can combine up to thousands of dollars; b) set up fraudulent schemes — when a user sends items to other users within trading transactions, these items can be intercepted by the fraud bot.
The fastest and most effective way to deal with fraudsters is to block similar clone sites. This is the company's priority.
WePlay! Esports Legal Department is actively working on solving this issue. Further results will be announced additionally.
Please, be cautious:
WePlay! Esports at https://weplay.tv is the only Internet website and source of information about and from WePlay! Esports.
