After 2017-2018 season was over, Team Spirit decided to build the team around the captain – fng. He decided to keep their support Biver and add three European players. Let’s take a look at the new roster and get to know every player.
Oliver (21 years old)
Before joining Team Spirit, Oliver “Oliver” Lepko (a.k.a. Skiter) spent some time playing in several mixes and one pro-team. Oliver’s best results are the 3-4th place at ROG Masters 2017 and the 13-16th place at ESL One Genting 2018 in PENTA roster. However, Slovakian player is yet to achieve great victories but the strive within will push him forward.
Nine (20 years old)
Leon “Nine” Kirilin knows Oliver very well as they’d been playing in PENTA together, taking the 3-4th place at ROG Masters 2017. Then they played in Team pacan and Gang Squad mixes. That experience of playing together should make a good effect chemistry and performance wise in future matches. As we all know, well-coordinated efforts is a key to success.
HesteJoe-Rotten (27 years old)
Through his entire career, Mikki “HesteJoe-Rotten” Junget played in many teams of all kinds. His biggest accomplishment is the second place at World Electronic Sports Games2016 as a part of Cloud9. Huge experience should help him in playing for the new team.
Interesting fact: Mikki has an elder brother Denny “Noia” who also plays Dota 2 in Entity Gaming.
Biver (22 years old)
The turning point in life of Malthe “Biver” Winther was getting to ProDota Gaming where he demonstrated his prowess. After that Natus Vincere noticed the Danish player and invited him to the team. Although, he did show his expertise before and after joining the Ukrainian organizations: 4th place at World Cyber Arena 2016 with Prodota and 3rd place at Galaxy Battles 2: Emerging Worlds.
Fng (22 years old)
Artem “fng” Barshak is the most experienced of all five. He played for some well known tags like Natus Vincere, Virtus.Pro and Vega Squadron. Getting the 5-6th place at The International 2015 became the peak in his career. For all this time Artem has proven he’s an experienced captain and skilled drafter. There’s a reason why Team Spirit doesn’t want to let him go and build the team around him for two years so far.
As many other teams, Spirit brought young players who are not hardened by pro-scene. Well, that’s the trend in this season and the way they utilize it looks quite compelling. This roster might as well aim for better results compared to the previous season. We wish the squad best of luck. Perhaps, they will become the champions!
