WePlay! appeals to the community

Community address from WePlay! ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!
Dear friends,
Our statements that the opinion of the community is important aren’t hollow, because your interests are the priority for WePlay!. We apologize to the community for getting you engaged in a drama with Casperrr, RuHub, and other streamers.
As far as you know, last week we received a letter from RuHub. It stated that our talents were streaming RuHuB's tournament on their private channels. However, they were not violating the Valve rules. We stood up defending our casters using the Valve Privacy Policy with which we always align our actions. As a result, RuHub and other studios took aggressive actions towards WePlay!.
During this conflict, we filed a DMCA claim due to the fact of the unfair competition because Dota 2 was used by our opponents as a tool to offend WePlay!. We emphasize that the only reason that has motivated us to apply the claim were the general aggressive actions against us and not the stream of CasperRRR itself. The story of the conflict between ESL and Henrik “AdmiralBulldog” Ahnberg, Peter “ppd” Dager, and Brian “BananaSlamJamma” Canavan has demonstrated that using DMCA as a tool of influence is perceived negatively by the community and Valve was crystal clear about it.
Your reaction served as the trigger for us to look at the situation from another angle, and we have come to the conclusions which we would like to share with you. We claim that we are not going to prohibit the streams of our content by independent streamers on their channels and we are not going to use DMCA as a tool to ban them if their streams do not have the commercial benefits and don't insult other members of the community. To prove our words, we have initiated the withdrawal of the DMCA claim against CaspeRRR asap.
We affirm that all our intentions and actions are guided by the Valve rules and the community sentiment.
Yours
WePlay!
