Watch Dogs 3 is an inevitable evolution of the profitable franchise, and we highly doubt that Ubisoft will ever miss the opportunity to make a potential money-magnet. The company hasn’t announced the triquel yet, although there’re persistent rumours in regards to the setting of the game.
You might’ve already heard that the events of Watch Dogs 3 might take place in London – and there’re several sources to that. These rumours even go as far as suggesting that the game will focus on smaller handguns and melee weapons rather than a huge arsenal of a small army. Given that in the UK it’s not as easy to buy a weapon as it is in the US, the aforementioned speculation seems legit enough. And while there’s no official confirmation to the very idea of going to London in the third game of the series, the exceptionally reliable website Kotaku has mentioned that Watch Dogs 3 would indeed take place in the UK’s capital. There’re no specific details shared, although Jason Schreier has reminded the community that the last patch for Watch Dogs 2, which came out two years ago, hinted at the probability of the London setting.
We might hear the first news regarding the game’s existence closer to E3 2019, and the event will probably be used by Ubisoft to make the official announcement. Let’s hope the game takes into consideration the topic of Brexit – you can do a lot with that in a hacker-dedicated project.
