Red Dead Redemption 2 just might be the best game of 2018 and it wouldn’t be as awesome without the actors who stay faceless heroes that brought our beloved characters to life. Thanks to the marvelous voice-over and tone of the game, the fans even went further and called it a fantastic mix of Django Unchained and Grand Theft Auto, which is exactly what the game is, to be honest.
Let’s check out the main crew of voice actors behind the heroes and villains of the new Rockstar Games title.
Roger Clark // Arthur Morgan
Red Dead Redemption 2 wasn’t Roger Clark’s first video game job. Back in 2009 he was a member of the voice actor team behind Shellshock 2: Blood Trails. Roger leads a very active social life and loves hanging out with his friends and family.
Cali Elizabeth Moore // Abigail Roberts
Before casting in RDR 2, Cali Elizabeth Moore was most known for her episodic roles in TV series Broad City (2017) and 30 Rock (2012). Besides casting, she also sings and hosts radio shows. By watching her social media, you can really tell she enjoyed being a part of Red Dead Redemption 2 creative team.
Steve J. Palmer // Bill Williamson
Steve J. Palmer is a returning actor from the original Red Dead Redemption and the game series remains to be the highlight of his career. Fun fact: he used to be a bird/animal handler for the Cincinnati Zoo.
Noshir Dalal // Charles Smith
Noshir is a very talented actor with a long list of roles. Besides Red Dead Redemption he is also a cast in Spider-Man, Gears of War 4, Metal Gear Survive, Titanfall 2, Spider-Man (2018), Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and many other video games. You might also remember Noshir as Kiksuya, the leader of Ghost Nation in Westworld.
Curzon Dobell // Hosea Matthews
Curzon Dobell is most known for his role as London Tailor in "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" movie. He also played Nixon in "The Post".
Benjamin Byron Davis // Dutch van der Linde
Probably the most famous actor in the Red Dead Redemption 2 lineup, previously cast in The Belko Experiment (2016) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018). Has had dozens of roles in movies, TV series, and TV shorts. In 2013 he directed a short movie called Tender Love.
Gabriel Sloyer // Javier Escuella
Another well-credited member of Red Dead Redemption 2 crew, well known for his parts in Narcos (2015) and Power (2014). You could also remember him as Trish’s trainer from Jessica Jones. On top of that, he voiced over Oscar Guzman in Grand Theft Auto V.
