Vodafone announce partnership with ESL Italia

This day will be remembered as another big milestone for Italy eSport community. Telecoms giant Vodafone just announced a new deal with ESL which will see them sponsor events across Italy. The show will kick off with Milan Games Week (5th-7th October) and then moving on to Lucca Comics & Games (October 31st - November 4th). Moreover, ESL events with the Vodafone brand will be seen in ten more Italian cities. 

As a head sponsor of the newly dubbed ESL Vodafone Championship, the brand will support four eSport titles - League of Legends, CS:GO, Rainbow Six Seige and Clash Royale. The format of the tournament will be classical winter and summer editions which boast a 60,000 EUR in a prize pool. 

That is not for the first time, when Vodafone step into the world of eSport. In April, they worked with ESL to sponsor the Intel Extreme Masters, ESL ONE and ESL Pro League tournaments. Alongside this, Vodafone has helped to grown well-known organizations such as mousesports or Spanish Vodafone Giants.
