Virtus.pro took 3rd place at ESL One Hamburg 2018

Virtus.pro are leaving ESL One Hamburg 2018 – “the bears” could not outplay Team Secret second time at the tournament. Puppey with his team took revenge with 2:0 score and advanced to the grand-final, where they will meet Vici Gaming.

Taking up the third place at the event is the worst result Virtus.pro showed at ESL events this year. Previously the CIS team got the champions title at three ESL tournaments - in Hamburg, Katowice and Birmingham, while three players of their roster were awarded the MVP title (Alexey “Solo” Berezin, Vladimir “RodjER” Nikogosyan and Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko). 

ESL One Hamburg 2018 is set to end today, October 28. The tournament’s prize pool is $300,000 (the winner gets $125,000). Virtus.pro’s third place granted the organization $35,000.
