The comments yesterday from Virtus.pro's manager Eugene "GreenGT" Luchianenco painted a grim picture of the situation with the team's roster, and VP has now confirmed that the former roster is no more.

In an announcement on their website today, Virtus.pro confirmed that it has released Andrey "AndyLendi" Pishikov, Iliya "Unnstable" Grigoriev, Arturs "bkbgrnrjefek" Hlibovs and Oleg "PowerOfDreams" Bondarenko.

But the translated press release also confirmed that the organization would be giving Vsevolod "CEBKAJE" Demianenko another chance to form and lead a new roster for Virtus.pro.

The four players who were released will likely seek new teams. AndyLendi and Unnstable were already spotted playing with GoogleIshetZont, and bkb played with Sandwich Monkeys, the new team helmed by former Team Dignitas flex Adrian "adrd" Wojcik.

On Twitter, bkb thanked the organization for their support and announced his free agency.

With the talented players on Virtus.pro now going their separate ways, it will prove interesting to see how that affects the teams currently forming in the midst of the European roster shuffle.
