Video: Mortal Kombat 11 Character Customization Detailed

You've been waiting, haven't you? The Universe is being threatened again, choose your favourite fighters to defend it and make it with style. The new Mortal Kombat 11 gameplay video uncovers character customization — similar to another NetherRealm's game Injustice 2. 

Ed Boon, game's director, talked about the customization, using Scorpion as an example. All characters have three options to customize — our yellow assassin has mask, katana, and spear to choose. These are not just simple cosmetics — each option changes the appearance rather significantly, but Kosmetics takes it even further. There are also Abilities and AI Behavior tabs in the menu — Boon also added that you can choose intros and victory celebrations.

All in all, this system and style look great. We hope there will be no 'additional' things to purchase through the in-game store. Plus, now we know that the beta test is coming in March for PS4 and Xbox One, while the game itself will be released on April 23 for the above-mentioned consoles, PC and Nintendo Switch.
