Vici Gaming leaked The International 2019 dates

China is a magnificent country. Who needs Twitter, when you have Weibo, right? Wait, Twitter doesn't work there... Okay, well, Vici Gaming has published the dates of Dota 2 The International 2019 via Weibo. According to the Chinese organisation, the group stage of the world championship will be held from August 16 to 18, and the winner of Aegis of the Champions will be determined in the playoffs taking place from August 20 to 25.

Valve has not officially confirmed this information yet, but last year's world championship was held from August 15 to 25, and such dates look plausible enough.

So far, we know only four teams who will participate at The International: a sufficient number of points were scored by Virtus.pro, Team Secret, Vici Gaming and Evil Geniuses. The final stage of the tournament will be held at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai.
