Vega Squadron released the Dota 2 roster

Yesterday, Vega Squadron played against Kaban during the WePlay Dota 2 Tug of War: Radiant tournament, losing the series 1:2. Unfortunately, it was the final event where these players represented the Vega colors as they have just been disbanded.

In the official press-release, Vega Squadron esports director Georgy Faleev was crystal-clear about the reasons of the disband — the poor results.

We were aiming to reach LAN-finals however we only took part in DreamLeague Minor after Team Liquid pulled off.

The message had some bitterness in it as well:

There are a lot of tier 1 teams in the European region. To achieve Majors and even Minors you must beat NiP, Liquid, OF and Secret. All 4 teams are in the world top at the moment.

The players may reassemble again to play as Team Lithium, the tag they used before joining Vega at the beginning of the DPC season.
